About Yorkshire Grit & The Beer
The Yorkshire Grit Podcast was set up by Tommy Bustard, a retired professional cyclist from Yorkshire. Tommy had long suffered with depression and with the help of Doctor Tom, created this podcast to speak to other men about depression and the pressures men face in the 21st century. Talking about subjects not usually spoken about amongst men or what society thinks men suffer from, such as, body shaming, body image, self-confidence etc. Now in its second season, they have just had their first woman on the podcast to talk about what it was like to compete in a ‘mans world’. The Podcast is growing all the time and had some of the biggest names in the sport of cycling on so far as well as luminaries from the world of art (Grayson Perry).
