The Leafer – BAD Co X SALT Beer Factory NEIPA

Alc 6.8%

The Leafer New England IPA 6.8%

BAD Co are currently on a passionate mission to make bigger, bolder, massive beers that are an wondrous assault on the taste buds, and this collaboration with SALT Beer Factory is far from an exception.

The New England IPA is a style that has taken on a few different forms since it’s introduction to the UK craft beer scene, and so with ‘The Leafer’ we wanted to take it right back to it’s glorious roots, and that is just what we have done.

The colour is beautifully opaque and hazy – it could almost be mistaken for orange juice to the uninitiated, but that is where the comparison stops.  The aroma is a huge face melting barrage of hops, and the mouthfeel is beautifully smooth and mouth coating.  As for the flavour…  what can we say?  It is the perfect showcase of Nelson Sauvin, Citra and El dorado.  Intense passion fruit and citrus explode upon the palate leaving a long, delicious aftertaste.

Everyone knows that two heads are better than one, and The Leafer proves that when we get together with SALT Beer Factory, wonderful things happen.
