Job Description

We’re searching for a motivated individual to join us in BAD Company as a Sales Representative.

  • Grows distribution of BAD Co. by targeting and gaining new accounts, establishing relationships with bars, pubs, restaurants, shops and other outlets to sell BAD Co. products
  • Actively builds and maintains network with key customers and opinion leaders within the industry
  • Routinely performs beer schools/tastings to ensure brand understanding, quality of serve and encourage optimum pricing
  • Analyses territory and account specific business to clearly understand key business drivers
  • Builds and maintains good relationships with regular stockists
  • Builds the BAD Co. reputation for great products and customer service within the region
  • Communicates effectively between customers and brewery to ensure stock and deliveries are well planned and excellent customer service is always achieved
  • Supports events and marketing activities nationwide
  • Reports to Sales Director

Requirements

 

  • First and foremost, a love of great quality and unique beer and the ability to speak passionately about it, whether that be face-to-face, over the phone or in an email
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Good communication skills and ability to build long-lasting relationships
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Must have full driving license and own transport
  • Existing knowledge about the craft brewery industry
  • Outgoing, confident and personable, with proven experience working well within a team as well as autonomously
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Experience working in a small team, with flexible can-do attitude
  • Experience in alcohol retail, especially craft ale desirable
  • Familiarity with food and drink trends, contemporary and local cultures advantageous
