BAD Co. Takes on York Beer Festival
After last week’s huge hit-out at Leeds International Beer Festival, we’re again packing the van for another beer-fuelled event as next week sees the return of the annual York Beer and Cider Festival!
For those of you who follow us closely, you’ll of course be aware of our short history with the prestigious event. Last year, within our first 4 months of trading, our 3.8% legend, Comfortably Numb, walked away with not only the ‘Best Low-Gravity Beer’ award, but also astonished us all and took home the ‘Best In Show’ for 2014. Since then, our portfolio of ales has more than tripled in size and we’re returning this year with some new innovations as well as some BAD Co. classics.
Comfortably Numb will return for a second year along with our other headliners, Wild Gravity and Dazed & Confused. We’re hoping to follow up the success of best low gravity beer in 2014 with another more sessionable ale. You may remember Whiter Shade of Pale from the spring, a 3.4% single-hopped ale with big citrus aroma and extreme drinkability. This’ll be brewed again especially for York, with the slight variation of multiple hop inclusions and an even lower ABV (3.2%).
We’ll be bringing some oak-aged beers along with us as well as our ever popular brown ale ‘Burnt Ends’. A couple of our kegged beers will be available too, so loads of variety will be on show for you all.
Don’t miss this one people, we’re all very excited so come and join in the fun.
Fingers crossed for another successful year!
